Joe has delivered highly acclaimed drumming in an impressive range of contexts over the past 17 years. He's proficient in most major styles of drumming, having played everything from progressive rock in Tokyo to small jazz gigs in Torquay.

Having played with King Crimson's David Cross and Pendragon Joe is currently the drummer for Wishbone Ash. Joe also finds time to teach at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, record studio sessions and Custom Drum Tracks and and add to his free online video lessons.

Out from behind the kit, Joe is a proficient guitarist and bass player, and has a good deal of experience in the studio, both with analogue equipment and software such as Cubase SX3, Logic and Protools. His knowledge and ability of instruments other than drums allows him a perspective to better understand his role as the drummer.
